#LeadFarm 5.0 is an Erasmus+ project for VET providers
Improving agri-food co-operatives’ capacity by speeding up the development and uptake of future skills based on digital innovations
#LeadFarm 5.0 is a training project that aims to improve the adaptive capacity of agri-food co-operatives to the great challenges arising from climate change and digital transformation, by developing a new training strategy, based on methodological and digital innovations, that addresses the improvement of the competencies and skills of farmers (especially young people and women) and the knowledge necessary to keep them up-to-date with the technological developments expected towards Society 5.0.
#LeadFarm 5.0 will work as a network for the development and experimentation of a competence framework and training curricula, which will help to obtain the key future skills, knowledge and competencies in:
- ICT and Robotic Technologies;
- Environment;
- Management and Entrepreneurship
- Social and Emotional Intelligence
That will give us an overall picture of the success factors of resilience linked to Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change applicable to the agri-food sector in the EU and for intelligent advice on new sustainable opportunities emerging in rural areas.
This training curriculum will be used as a tool that will serve to transfer knowledge and promote scientific dissemination to reach smaller cooperatives and agri-food farms, youth and women farmers, sharing knowledge with them through a new educational, universal, and accessible mentoring mechanism.
The project partnership is formed by eight organisations coming from seven different European Union Member States. These include Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
